In our Lewisville, Texas facility the UniTherm research and development team uses computer-aided design technology to draft new technology and then creates models and test products with laser and waterjet cutting systems.
After the creation process, we rigorously test all products for quality and durability. The UniTherm research and development team also routinely subject individual product components to trials in harsh conditions.
UL1709 Certified Fire Tests
At UniTherm headquarters, we proudly operate a full scale, high temperature test furnace capable of reaching a maximum of 2200ºF. Fully assessed and certified by Underwriter’s Laboratories®, our test furnace meets UL1709 standard test requirements.
We systematically test all elements of our FirePro product line to ensure that the entire system meets and exceeds fire protection standards for the oil, gas and petrochemical industries.
