Cold
Face (Outside Fabric) Teflon
Coated Fiberglass
This
material is designed for use in removable insulation systems
as a weather/chemical resistant barrier. This grade of fabric
is extremely resistant to most industrial chemicals and
has been used in applications for injection molding, blow
molding, engine exhaust pipes and extruders, etc... Teflon
coating will repel hot melted plastic as well as heavy greases
and oils.
Insulation
- Ceramic Fiber
Ceramic
fiber is non-asbestos, will not break down and will withstand
extreme heat for long periods of time. The thickness is
usually 1" and is rated at 2300°F.
Hot
Face (Inside Fabric) Silica Fabric
Silica
high temperature textiles have thermal characteristics
that exceed the very best asbestos materials and have
twice the working capacity of most fiberglass textiles.
Silica Fabric maintains its insulation capabilities in
steady state temperatures up to 2000°F and continues to
provide thermal insulation to its melting temperature
which exceeds 3000°F. Silica base fabric also has a high
moisture absorption capacity which adds to its insulation
capabilities without degradation of properties.
Stainless
Steal Mesh
Optional
Straps
Constructed
of the same material as the cold face. Teflon Fabric is
extremely durable material and repels plastic.
Strap Closure
- High Temperature Velcro
This
special woven hook is manufactured out of stainless steel.
The loop tape is woven with Nomex ground and unapped loops.
The hook tape is extremely high shear strength for use in
applications where repeated cycling is expected.
Buckles
Nickel
plated steel wire with loose roller to allow ease of tightening
of straps.
