Drool Disc is rapidly becoming the leading, most cost-effective solution for drool in the injection molding industry. The disc will withstand a constant heat of 700 F. when drool escapes from the mold or the nozzle, Drool Disc will catch it, saving heater bands and the downtime associated with changing those bands. Our Drool Bonnet includes a replaceable Drool Patch that is attached to the end of the bonnet with high temperature Velcro. This design is a combination of our uninsulated Blanket Protection Bonnet and Drool Disc. The Drool Bonnet is supplied with one Drool Patch, replacements sold separately.
This uninsulated bonnet helps to protect from drool getting on the blankets, wiring and heater bands. It slides over the end of installed blankets and is used in conjunction with Drool Disc.
Our Drool Blanket is an insulated version of the Bonnets that helps retain more heat at the end of the barrel. Used in conjunction with Drool Disc.
Sometimes more heat retention is needed at the nozzle. Our insulated Nozzle Adapter Blanket is the answer.
