FireWrap
is a part of UniTherm's FirePro fire protection line of products.
The
FireWrap blanket is a versatile fire protection system designed
for conduit and pipes that demands an insulation system that
can adjust to different diameters and maneuver around the
numerous objects connecting at various places.
Similar
in design to UniTherm's UniWrap Insulation Blanket the FireWrap
is designed for applications not needing a high temperature
"hot face" material, but instead require a UL-1709
Rapid Rise Fire Test Rating of protection materials used in
industries such as petrochemical.
FireWrap
and UniWrap share a serpentine design. Installation is made
by coiling the insulation blanket around the line while a
Velcro flap running the length of the blanket connects to
the adjoining side.The
use of a Stainless Steal wire every eight inches as is required
secures it in place in a fire.
